100 Followers, Now What?

Dear Medium Members and Readers,

I ventured onto this platform six days ago and I just eclipsed the 100 followers mark. Being apart of the MPP was one of my goals and to be able to do that was a great success.

Spending a good majority of my time outside of work on Medium wasn’t maxing out the followers each day and hoping that they’ll follow. Instead, I:

• Read bios to see who I was interested in reading more about
• I read a story of theirs that seemed relatable to what brought me here, clapped a reasonable amount
• Commented a thoroughly worded response
• Then I followed them.

Additionally, I pledged to myself that writing once a day was the minimum amount of content produced. With that being said whoever commented on any of my posts would get claps, a reply, and a follow if their work was similar to mine. Those are the reasons why I got to 100 followers in six days.

My long term goals isn’t about money or always writing about my son, (I still will because he will be amazing and whatnot) alternatively I want to create a community in which male feelings are expressed and they feel comfortable to do so not just here on Medium but in the real world.

Right now my collection of work is based on my unborn son who will be here any day now and the experiences a male partner is going through during the pregnancy and other prompts that I seem are necessary. It will also be good…
