Curiously Awaiting on Who You’ll Be
Dear Henry,
In less than 17 days you’ll be here. While there are moments in time that make me overwhelmed or emotionally worried or concerned, I always think of you and what you already mean to your mama and me.
I wonder things like who’s stubbornness you’ll have or if you’ll have moms eyes. If you’ll have my straight black hair or mamas wavy curls. If you’ll like music like both of your grandfathers or if you’ll take on artsy projects like (Aunt) Dobby or Aunt Mel. If you’ll bake like Mimi. If you’ll go dancing like Grammy. If you’ll read about a million books like Uncle Paul. Or if you’ll play sports like both mama and I. (P.S, I really want you to try a bunch of sports and/or activities!)
I know you’ll have a personality of your own and we can’t wait to see you grow and develop into a magnificent human being.
Henry, you and mama are unequivocally the most amazing part of my life and I love you both unconditionally. You are and will always be my lil man.
See you soon, Henry! Give mama a break from time to time. But don’t stop movin and grooving.
I love you buddy!
Forever and Always,
Dad
